Room Instructions

Power up the Displays

Tap the iPad controller screen to wake displays

Start Meeting from the Host Laptop

Start or Join the scheduled meeting on the host/co-host laptop
Do not join the computer audio
Click the up arrow next to mute/unmute
Leave the computer audio to avoid echo

Every laptop in the room must leave computer audio.

Join from the Zoom Room

Join the meeting from iPad controller
Click join and enter the meeting ID
The Zoom Room is a participant in the meeting that provides audio and video

Wireless Screen Sharing

Use wireless screen sharing to present from the laptop
For videos with audio, click “share sound”

Audio Visual Notes

Camera Angle

Remote participants will see a fixed camera angle of the podium
To change the camera angle, click the "switch camera" button on the iPad

Podium Components

Gooseneck mic (amplifies in-room sound)
In-ceiling mics

All of the room microphones are always ON. To turn them off, mute the room from the iPad controller.

The room system does not allow additional mics to be added

End the Meeting

Zoom Room
- Click “End meeting for all” on the host/co-host laptop
- OR
- Leave the meeting from the podium iPad controller

Leaving from the controller allows the room displays to auto-sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity.
